Graduate-Level QSEN Competencies: Quality and Safety in Nursing Practice

Nursing quality and safety pack built on the AACN/RWJF Graduate-Level QSEN Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes, 2012). It covers the six QSEN competencies: patient-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, safety, and informatics. For each one it gives the expected knowledge, skills and attitudes, and how to use them to identify and analyse quality and safety issues in clinical settings. It includes a discussion brief on identifying a clinical quality or safety issue and its potential negative outcomes.
